OH has gone out for a meal with her mates, I decided to go for a couple of bars of Chocolate, it's not often I buy sweets but thought blow it, never again, Turkish Delight the size of a mini egg, Cholate Cream, thin / narrow & shallow, who taking the izz here, the prices are the same but the quantity less, have you noticed?

Research shows that some have indeed reduced in size - I rarely buy sweet stuff these days.

very much so - but rather than decreasing the size of the said sweets and many others - they should have upped the price and left the size - I for one would have paid up.

Not really. My shop are selling big tubes of smarties for £1.

I haven't had Turkish delight in years and yesterday OH came home with a big packet. I presume it must have been on offer...he loves a bargain!!

I've also got a crunchie which I think is the same size as usual but can't remember how much it cost.

Since I gave up drinking I've developed a sweet tooth but the smarties seem to the job. The crunchie and Turkish delight are still untouched.

I also have a lunch box of sweets but I only eat them one at a time for the sugar taste after dinner.
