A personal death sentence. I have no sympathy.
one less murderer to keep.
I guess his life was made a misery in prison.
Can't disagree with you ivor
If there were such thing as an afterlife, at least we can be sure that Daniel is not likely to bump into either his Mother, or Step-father.

I hope that Krezolek's death is reported rather than mourned.
This seems to have saved the UK taxpayer a lot of money. According to this report, it costs £87 a day to keep a prisoner in jail:

I agree, Ivor.
That poor boy. It's brought me to tears all over again.

Absolute scum, the pair of them. I'm glad they're both dead.
How I wish that little lad could have been saved and loved as he deserved. I am with you ivor, I PRAY that piece of *** suffered and suffered greatly !!!
Unless he was murdered, he has taken the coward's way out.
That's worth thinking about HC, they do not like Child Killers inside.
RIP Daniel.
So many horrible things have happened and some cases are forgotten ,this was a horrible case but why should we condem those that carried it out .They have been found guilty so justice can be done .Are we not leaving ourselves open to any sort of remorse by wishing on those people any further ill .Where is the benefit to us ? It never reverses the terrible happenings .
The Daniel Pelka case upset me more than I can tell, as will be appreciated by my previous posts on this subject.

This wonderful little lad was tortured and murdered by his own mother and her fancy man ...I am not and never will be a supporter of the death penalty but this case sorely tried my patience.

My thoughts tonight are with his Dad back in Poland.
Mariusz Krezolek is described as Daniels's "step father"

My Mum divorced my Dad and then remarried, and myself and my younger brothers were encouraged to call this new chap our "stepfather"

We steadfastly refused to do this, as our "real" Dad was very much still alive and kicking. Mums new husband was a complete pillock, which didn't exactly help the situation ! To be fair, Mum never made an issue of this.

But were we correct ? What is the "dictionary definition" of a step-father ?

For my part, a "stepfather" is someone who marries your Mum, after your Dad has died...or have I got this wrong ?
Mikey, to me a stepfather is someone who marries your mum after divorce, separation or death of your father.
My OH [not married to me and not biological father of my child] calls my son his stepson or son depending on the circumstances.
I suppose in this tragic case it's easier to call the "man" the poor boy's stepfather.
Yes you have got it wrong, mikey
Coverjo.....you maybe correct I suppose, although it still doesn't sound quite right somehow.

Look at little Daniel....how could anyone harm such a small boy ?

It made my blood boil !
Mikey....I'm not married to my partner but my kids refer to him as dad/step dad, depending on who they're talking to.
It's a tragic case, Mikey. I can't bear to look at a picture of the poor little mite, thinking of how he suffered.
Another monster who died recently.
