I am only here because of a strange rumbling around 4am, that sounded remarkably like an earthquake.
Mr F said it was thunder, but thunder would not have wakened me like that.
I 'felt' it as much as 'heard' it.

Morning ferlew. xxx I'm usually up at this time. In fact I've been up for over an hour. I usually go for a short walk. I see quite a lot of wildlife out and about, they are used to me being there and mostly just carry on with whatever they are up to. I haven't been out yet because of the rain.

Thunder can feel like an earth tremor, Unfortunately you will probably never know.

Mmm, so quiet now, I may spend a little time tidying my craft room, even the animals are still sleeping.

I usually find, when I wake at this sort of hour, that it feels as if someone has poured hot grit into my eyes, this morning I feel quite alert.
Probably the little scare at 4am.

No beej. But I'm on nodding terms with most of the early morning badgers, foxes and various other makes of wildlife. I enjoy watching them. :o}
