Cleaning Suede Shoes

I've got some beige suede ballet style pumps (they were £35 from Monsoon so I am assuming they are real suede).

Because I wear them so often they're absolutely filthy. If I stuck them in the washing machine would they get ruined?

They're my favourite flats. I don't want to say goodbye to them.

you use to clean suede with fullers earth but i think you can buy cleaners from cobblers shops , i woundn't put them in washing machine as the glue to hold the sole on might weaken .

hhmm, hadn't thought about the glue. Because the shoes are a light colour I think they need a good soaking to bring the dirt out but I'll have a look for some cleaner.
