I got a new flat screen telly from Santa, and am now trying to connect to my Virgin box, and there is no Scart socket which my current telly uses. It says in the instructions to connect isong the scart but there isn't one. Both the telly and the virgin box have HMDI sockets, will these connect in the same way as the scart socket? Thanks chaps! Sony does one for about £10 which gives a good quality signal. Don't buy cheep rubbish.
£10.00 ?
You could buy at least three decent HDMI cables for that price.

its a digital signal not analogue where you would benefit from a more upmarket scart cable
