DVD player problem

Please help. When i try to play a DVD in my tv/dvd combi it wil try and load but after a few seconds will stop and give the error messge "Wrong Disc". Is there an easy way to resolve this ? ( i.e. would a head cleaner disc do it? )

Well, let's see, you've given no information about the make/model of the combi unit, and no information about the type of disk you are trying to play.

Don't think you're going to get much in the way of useful advice.
Are you sure it is going in the right way round. I'm sure this is the message if I put mine in wrong. But I doubt if a head cleaner would cure it anyway.
I would say it is more likely to be a hardware problem
Open disc that some players will not play (due to burning fault on hm DVD's)
Wrong region code
Damaged disc .. player cannot read table information (burned area centre of disc)

Will it play other DVDs?
If so, then damaged DVD.
If not, then possible dirty lens (try a cleaning kit), or laser failure.
