My new dvd player (Acoustic Solutions - bought from Argos) will not play Cdrs, any suggestions?

have u tried different ones ?

the spec in the catalogue does say that it plays this format so if it doesnt - take it back !

Yes, I have tried a few; could it be the cdrs? It plays other formats fine.
