I have replaced the black cartridge in my printer, but now all my printing comes out green. I have done everything I can find like cleaning and aligning. Can anyone help?
Thanks in advance.

It would help to know what printer and whether you used proprietary or compatible cartridge?
Is there an option when you print to print monochrome / black only - if so does that still come green?
"Black" ink is really a mixture of colours. If you put a drop some on a plain kitchen towel and then add a teaspoon of water, you'll see the colours separate out - dark green will be one of them. Your print head could be wet?
Alternatively green will come from the black having been contaminated with some of the yellow ink.

Thanks for response. It is a hp psc 1215 all in one. I have just tried the copier black only and it came out black, but still prints green.
I haven't got an HP 1215 but with my HP printer if you click on FILE (in menus), then PRINT, then PREFERENCES, then the FEATURES tab (which selects Paper type, size, etc,) there is also a choice to Print in Colour or Grayscale.
If you select Print in Colour and the colour cartridge (RED) is nearly empty, then it could print in GREEN.
Just a thought!!!
I had a similar problem with my HP all-in-one (Model F4180) where all my prints had a pink tinge. I tried discussing the problem with HP tech support but they were useless.
I bought new authentic cartridges, not "compatible" or refilled, from local Morrisons. Even these had longish "use by" dates the problem was still there. I took the cartridges back to Morrisons who immediately replaced them f.o.c. Still no improvement. I then returned the printer to Comet as it was still under warranty and although they initially said that cartridge problems weren't covered, they relented when I presented them with the Morrisons receipts for brand new, branded cartridges. They provided me with a new printer - even though the model was discontinued. This still gave the same problem and I even had a "discussion" with the manager, accusing him of not actually replacing my faulty printer but merely returning the one that I had complained about. He very quickly showed me my old one and the new one side by side! (I quickly apologised most humbly!) He then admitted that this was an occasional problem with HP a-i-os and after 10 days or so provided me with my third printer (same model) and this has now been going strong for a couple of years.
One other point: I would always recommend that you buy original, in date, cartridges online rather than from the High Street as these tend to have a much faster turnover and hence much longer use by dates.
