My cooker hood fan doesn't seem to be drawing steam away. Fan sounds as though it's working but steam is causing condensation around the cupboards. Does anyone know if this is fixable by myself or if i need to call out a professional :)

have you checked the filters aren't bocked?
Are you sure it's connected to an outside vent pipe ... some are not, and they just
re-circulate.
Make sure the outside vent is opening (if you have flaps)!
: )
Has it worked properly before?
They can get horribly clogged with grease even if you don't do much frying, If it vents to the outside remove the carbon filter drum If fitted as there no reason for it and replace the paper/felt filter. You can get sheets in supermarkets to cut to size.
