my house is over 100 years old and i am trying to find out who built it does anyone know how i can as i have been to the library and cant find anything.

I'm pretty sure it should say something on the deeds to the property.
Hi, I am pretty sure you will be able to get this information from the Land Registry people, or possibly your local council.   Search for Land Registry in Google or Ask.co.uk and you should find their website.  Good Luck.
Either way, he won't be liable for repairs.
