bint is Arabic for girl, so I guess it must be one of the Arabic languages.
I have seen lots of Indonesian and malaysian names with bin and bint in it
The Indonesian/Malaysian connection is because of the  religion, Islam, shared with the Arabic world. Basically, the words are Arabic for 'son of' and 'daughter of'. 'Bint', on its own, also means 'girl'.

As in Osama bin Laden for example.

As you may or may not know bint also means girl in Cockney.
Not just Cockney, Galltin. The word was brought back to Britain by servicemen who'd been posted to Egypt - where Arabic is the prevailing language - during the two World Wars. As a result, it became common all around this country.
Dear gawd QM, is there anything that you don't know?! Round of applause for you.
I have often heard bint being used as a derogatory term. I always just assumed it was an insult
wench is another word often used as an insult but actually just means girl
