combi boiler - water temperature consistency??

Was just wondering if anyone knows anything about water temperature consistency with a combi boiler?  We have perfect hot water when the heating is on, but when the heating is not on, we can only get luke warm.  I am concerned that this could be a problem in the summer??  Any advice greatly appreciated!
