Hi...can anyone give me some advice on my lawn please? We put down the seed ourselves, a couple of years ago and although it has come up, it seems patchy and seems much more 'lush' around the edges as opposed to the majority of the centre of it. My other half did put weed and feed down and thinks he may have overdone it, could this be the cause? Anyone got any ideas as to how we get the whole lawn 'lush'? We don't have small children running around on it, just a small dog!

You could also give a feed of lawn fertiliser to the centre to give it some oomph. It can`t be for a lack of water in this country this year.
One other thing, if your dog is a bitch and `on heat` don`t let her `wee` on the lawn, as that will ruin grass.
