Extension costs

Hi,

If I were to build a 3m x 4m sunroom (i.e lots of windows but a normal slated roof on it) how much would it cost? Obviously I know this figure could be variable but am just looking for a rough idea.

Ours was the same size/type and cost us �15000 using direct labour.

No reason why it could not be done for around 12.5k. I am a quantity surveyor so have the rates to hand. There are some ingenious ways in which to engineer out unnesseary cost.

Hi Foodluva. I'm an Architect and agree with jamesmichael that it should be do-able for around 12.5k. The first thing to keep your costs down - dont pay a quantity surveyor! (sorry jm)
