My flat has to be one of the dustiest places on planet Earth. Does anyone know if any machines are available that suck up dust from the air?

There are some companies that make air filters for domestic use. 'Bionaire' is one and there was(may still be) another called 'Mountain Breeze'
My house must be dustier. I hate dusting, so I it doesn't get done.

Lottie, your pragmatism is beyond argument. Unfortunately, the damn dust makes me sneeze. So, your approach will not work for me, alas.

Scotman, I'll follow up your suggestions. Thanks to you both.
Glad to help. One thing I found is that not many of the shops or stores that sell this type of equipment stock the consumable filter pads etc. that go with them. If you are considering buying a filter you need to check price and availability of such things where you live.
I ended up getting the filters direct from Mountain Breeze. I have no knowledge of Bionaire products

I have warm air central heating and found that very dusty until i started to leave a small bowl of water in the corner of each room.
