pest repeller plugs for wasps

I have had a problem with wasps nests in my attic for the last two years (two nests) and although i got the council out to spray them this year a few hardy mites survived. I know they don't go back to the same nest but the queens hibernate somewhere about now, ready to build a new nest in the spring. I was going to buy a repeller plug to try and put them off building in my attic next year, but there are quite a few on the market and most reviews are for ants, mice and spiders. Anyone know a good one for wasps??
