central heating timers

please could anyone tell me if all .central heating timers have a manual setting.

There may be a rare exception, but most have (at least) an OFF, ON, ON ALL DAY (i.e. between the first and last timer settings programmed) and TIME PROGRAMMED settings.

hi.buildersmate.thank you for your quick reply.the reason that i wanted to know is because .i am having a new one fitted and i do not want one. that has not got an independent setting.

If you would really like to control your own settings have a room thermostat fitted and use it as an on & off switch.
