Can you work this out for me please?
If the cost of a product ( fruit, veg ) is 1.28p per Kilo and I bought 0.630 of a Kilo how much would it cost?

If it was pounds and ounces I would have no probs, but this Kilo biz does my head in?

I know its Sat night but we are having a friendly argument as to the cost.

Approx 81p
1 Kilo = 2.2lb. Is there a calculator on your computer to convert?

That is confusing . . . . .was the item 1.28 per kilo or 88p a kilo?
1.28 divided by 1000 = 0.00128 multiplied by 630 = 80.64p rounded up is 81p

Yes, quite - either it is 128p a kilo, in which case 0.63kg would cost 81p or it is 88p a kilo, in which case 0.63kg would cost 55p.
alternatively . . if a kilo is priced 1.28, one 10th of a kilo = 12.8p multiplied by 0.630 = 80.64p rounded up to 81p.
This is rivetting.
Heres a suggestion ratxron for saturday evenings perhaps you could purchase trivial pursuits?
