thanks to all who solved my maths querry
A kilo costs £10. 2.2 lbs in a kilo, so 1/2lb = £2.27
no problem carly. ;-)
Looks like heathfield ain't coming back, ha ha ha.
Advice to Carlyon...Shop at Ginge's. Svejk's will charge you 10% extra! Ho ho!
but not over 100% more as you alleged. hee hee hee.
and as the newsagent near me says our stock is fresh so it is a bit dearer
Kilos of what?
drugs, sandy.
At that price they seem a real bargain.
that's what I said. ;)
But what kind of drugs? I don't think I could find a use for 0.5 lb of laxatives, whatever the cost.
the next question will be how much do you pay for your king size papers
yeah, if packet costs x, how much will 1 paper cost.
well we will also need to know do they want the green, silver or the pack with the dragon pictures on

Love it, DrFilth. How much for 1/8th?
i am so glad i came back to this thread - i briefly glanced at it earlier and couldn't work out how you were all coming up with your answers (which appeared to be £5 in my fluffy little brain)
2.5kg = 5.51156 lb
so calc is £25.00 / 11.023 = £2.27
