I have a lovely little lemon tree but the leaves are turning yellow. Its in a adequate sized tub with good citrus compost and gets loads of light. Any suggestions from the more green fingered amongst you would be much appreciated.

It wil depend on where you have it but light levels are low even outside this year in the UK so it may just be down to lack of light. Also if it is too cold it may show yellow leaves. Citrus in the Uk will always drop some leaves especially lower down during the winter months but should pick up as the weather warms up. A good citrus feed is also a good idea as it could be hungry.

Not enough water could also be the cause as could over-watering.
