My partner has been offered a job in Leeds and we will therefore be needing to move to Yorkshire. Would anyone be able to recommend a good area to live.

We are in our early thirties and we like to live near nice restaurants and pubs however, we also like to live in scenic areas. We are looking to live in a nice area which have good school in the area.

Our budget is between 160K-200K for min of 2 bed house.

TIA

My sister works in Leeds and lives in Wetherby West Yorkshire. It is good for road links and the motorway.
A traditional market town with character which also has more modern housing developments.
Farsley is quite a nice area (nice village feel, but also has good local ameneties) as is Rodley (same again, but closer motorway links). Examples below of what can be bought for your budget - copy & paste links

Some other areas that may be worth considering are Morley, Rothwell and Chapel Allerton.

Just in addition to my post. It may be worth looking at the Manning Stainton website, as they are one of the main local estate agents and they will be able to advise you.

Good Luck
