dont really understand your question .... you want us to help you find more room in your house? Have you considered a house swap? or partitioning one of the bedrooms?
Question Author
dont wish to swap as we love house we.re in and bedrooms too small tp partition but thanks any other ideas
One way I have heard of splitting one bedroom into two is to put bunk beds in the middle, with the partition coming down on one side and up on the other, so the footprint of the bed is the same but each gets some privacy.
Hope you follow!

bedrooms are only single as it is so bunk in middle wont work may consider caravan for eldest to sleep in and give degree of privacy
would your son not mind sleeping in a caravan outside his family home?my mum had the same problem but there was 4 of us,2 girls and 2 boys in a 3 bedroom house.i shared a room with my sister who is 7 years younger than me and my brother who is 2 years older than my younger bother had to share. you get used to it
can u fit a double bed in one of the smaller rooms? if so u could have that room and use solarjunkies idea in your old bedroom.
A friend of mine still shares a room with her sister, she is 27 and her sister is 17 they have shared since the younger one was a baby and its only big enough for bunk beds and a small wardrobe.

my sons all for the caravan idea so he can lock little sister out lol
Any teenager would love to live in a caravan, no parents breathing down your neck, or aguments when you come home drunk. Also no embarrasing parents walking in when he's entertaining a 'friend' and who cares about curfew's when you can come and go as you please!
Question Author
1 theres no shop in our village and he wouldnt dare drink
2 caravan would be yards from front room so he wouldnt get chance to sneak anyone in
