Hot water from roof sprinklers

I have installed a roof sprinkler system with the water from a creek by my house. I know that boiling water will kill plants, grass, weeds, etc. The gutters on the roof are going into my flower bed around the house. The heat that the sprinkler system is pulling out of the roof is now in the water and is about 100 degrees or higher. My questions is, will that how water hurt the roots of my flowers and shrubs in the flower bed? Also, it is pumping about 360 gallons an hour for all of the zones. Will that cause the roots to rot with all that excessive water?

Interesting question but I'm afraid you have lost me.

Boiling water will kill plants and almost every living thing.

Good luck with other answers.

I noticed a typo above how should be hot: My questions is, will that how water hurt the roots of my flowers and shrubs in the flower bed?

As I stated above the water is not boiling it is around 100 degrees. I left out degrees in Fahrenheit.
Still far too hot for plants.

Is there a rule of thumb for what is an acceptable water temperature for roots. I know it would vary be species.
Plants will normally be watered with rain water so this is a natural temp for them. Anything above luke warm is too high.

I dont understand where the heat is coming from. You say you are pulling water from a creek by your house. How is this water being heated up. I am guessing you are not in the UK because otherwise you would need a licence to take this water.
