Has anyone found out how to separate the new adhisive stamps from the paper?

Maybe this is hardly DIY - but where else?

They just peel off ready to be stuck to the envelope.
i assume you collect stamps and wish to
remove them from envelopes etc.

beware

stamps from some countries
i.e. :- france are virtually impossible
to remove once they are on the envelope,
self adhesive printed postal labels
from spain are printed with ink that will
run if soaked in the normal philatelic
manner. stamps from these countries
should be left on the envelopes, just
cut them out allowing a 5mm margin all
round.

british self adhesive stamps have an
adhesive that will soak off envelopes, try using slightly warm water and a pinch of
salt, it should take no more than 10 mins.
