If I were to ask an expert if a dolphin had a chin what we he tell me?

I know it's an odd question but I blame the wine.

But Bruce Forsythe doesn't have teeth in his chin ;)
Dolphins have hollow lower jawbones filled with fat. This is thought to form part of their sonar detection ability. I'm only guessing, but I would think that the presence of extra bone forming a chin (as in humans) would mask some of the sound being picked up within the jaw. Comments, anyone?
