Hi heather, This question comes up time and time again but there are a few products out there which can help you ie 'Growing success Ivy Killer' or 'Sbk Brushwood Killer' and also 'Rootout'
I dont know if it's growing along the ground, on a tree or structure but What I recomend is cut it back to where it's growing from then treat the cut ends of the plant or as instructed on the chosen product.

hi heather my solution is a bit naughty really and depends on what is near the ivy but one definate way of killing is to spray with creasote but this is now of the market so would after hop some on you no as some knocking about but must be honest it is not really th e best way of doing it and for sfety i think tbird is the best way Paul
