Has anyone got one? and if so can you please tell me how the shampooing bit works, I have managed to soak all carpets and not a drop has been sucked up. My main confusion is do I have to switch between showering water, and sucking up in the same operation? I too scared to try it in case it blows up! Easy instructions please and thank you.

Hey Vinny when my daughter comes back home it's more:

"Hello tension, goodbye pension"

Love you all - goodnight x
oooh, I love the smell of cool, misty mornings...and burnt toast :o)
<scrapes it & puts it on Vinny's plate>

what an amazing day...& no one, <crosses fingers> is doing any diy....I can actually hear the birds singing for Europe & the church bells. It's like one of those scenes from an old film when you think that mornings like that never happen. Makes you want to don your kaftan & play your harp, so it does...hehe

now then, don't go exposing yourselves today, & keep your hat on...'specially you Vincent...you know what too much sun does to your hair.....Bleachy!...

whoosh > > > > > >

ps shaney 'tis Foyle's Phwoar tonight :o)

Very loud DIY here and very early. The flat at the back has been welding and hammering and god knows what - my daughter's room was shaking. I've been in and out of this house for 36 yrs and only recently have they developed the flats at the back and boy do I know it. Was once so peaceful. Luckily the noisy ignored puppy had been removed after I complained bitterly several times (they never cleared the poo, and in the heat it reeked) now there's a new baby, which is fine, until it starts playing out the back and crashing into my wall, when it grows a bit obviously. Even so, it's still relatively quiet here.
Morning. Lovely day again and by coincidence I am playing the Beatles No 1 Hits. Had a good time last night and have arranged for a friend to come round to have Rock and Roll lessons on Wednesday night. Then I'll have someone else to dance with when my other friend's not there! Talking of DIY Robi my next door neighbour is drilling away merrily. Haven't the faintest idea what he's making but it's a huge wooden frame for something or other! Yep I've been nosying out my bedroom window. I'm going to ask him when I see him. Not doing a roast today - having a quick fix chicken curry full of Lloyd Grossman's Dopiaza sauce. See yer later alligator! :o)
I have been DIYing myself, just filling in crumbling mortar with polyfilla to keep the kitchen from being washed away in the next high tide, nothing noisy enough to upset the neighbours. It seems to be about 90 degrees outside and number one son is lying on the sunlounger. I must go and wave the lawnmower under his nose.

Jude, I didn't congratulate you on your retirement - big step, hope it turns into the highlight of your life. I had the chance to retire myself last year and didn't take it, which I now very much regret.
I have a seat booked for Foyles War Robinia .
Lovely here... I've shaved me legs ....I shall curse if it all changes !
No energetic things like DIY here just stumbling round the park with Shaney.. ..too far for him to the beach now ....poor old boy ! We shuffle from seat to seat in the park and stare vacantly at nothing in particular.
Well I had better go and stare at the oven I suppose and see if I can make some dinner appear ....enjoy the weather Toodlepip for now .
Thanks Jno for your good wishes. I feel good about things at the moment because I have the Summer to look forward to. Don't know what I shall be like in the winter, but i wont mention that just yet!
Well Biddy friemds I'm going to watch Foyles War as well tonight. I really like that programme.
I've had a very lazy day today. Can't even speak to my sons. One is in Jersey for the weekend and one is on his way back from Oxford. He's been taking his daughter back there.Going to make a cuppa now see you soon :o)

Afternoon peeps.........
cool misty day ere..and I burnt me toast this morning.....bloomin heck...that webcam is good....she can see inside me kitchen....quickly pulls curtains across....puts clothes on... hehe..!
foyles war it is then...did you know are other local beach was used on the cover of the Pink Floyd album..".A momentary lapse of reason."(them things robinia gets...hehe)

suns just come out>>>>>>>>(:O)
Just thought I'd pop in before you all move to more salubrious quarters .So Spring has really arrived and you're all on the go -by the way Jude congrats .on your retirement and I hope it turns out just as you want it to.
Hello to everyone .I need to lose some weight but I can't resist Cappuccinos whenever I go to the shops and I'm not very active ,maybe will start going for walks now the weather is a bit cooler ,no humidity.
BYE FOR NOW XX
mornin....have to go to biddyfords zuperbug....and its thick fog/mist out yonder......help..!
hi dolly..
bleachyxx.(:O)
morning - I can see clearly here here today & looks like being another good day .....how fabulous was it yesterday?!

ok, so who fell asleep during Foyle's War & woke up with their teeth in their cleavage? haha well, it wouldn't be me then would it? but I'll bet one of you did after all that heat & sunlight. I did have to keep pinching myself to stay awake.....he's not really retiring is he - will that be the last?

hello Dolly (bet you get sick of that, hehe) - yes spring is sprung but the grass isn't riz...it's fast becoming shrivelled already.

Vinny they'd better leave a couple of those beds out in Saunton, my sister will probably be heading back there this year. They went to Jersey last year but didn't like it.
and nothing I do is momentary tut!

nowt wrong with my fuzzy logic

lotsaluv..xx

Morning all Glorious day again. Thanks Dolly for your thoughts. I spoke to my Dept Manager yesterday and she said we are going to have a meal out with a few friends I have worked with for years and that I wasn't going without some recognition which I thought was very nice. I'm off out now to see a friend, who lives in Breaston, for a cuppa. I bought some plants the other day and I overidid it a bit so am taking her ones I can't find anywhere for. (I never was a gardener as you all know)! Are they Fuchsias (spelling*) Robi in that lovely photo. I have 3 small hardy bushes of them and they are nowhere near flowering yet.
I'm off now see you later :o)

Another lovely day ....all gloom and doom at The Royal though and Foyle has handed his notice in ...they did say at the end that there will be another series though so perhaps he will have a change of heart. Sam will marry Milner and they'll all live happily ever after in sunny Hastings .
You can tell the summer is getting revved up when the TV programmes start to go downhill ...there's nothing much on now ..it's the UC final this week then before you know it will be game set and match at Wimbledon and then it's nearly Christmas ......

I must stop rambling and go and do something !
Have a good day all.
tea break

Jude it's a dicentra spectabilis (bleeding heart) one of my favourites. Hardy fuchsias prob won't flower until mid to late summer.

didn't hear the bit about (thankfully) another series shaney - I had to zap that woman announcer & her bl00dy irritating affected voice (don't know if it's the same one in all regions).
btw, I've a Q in A&N about moths.... hahahaha
(had one answer & doesn't need any more)...it's usually quite a busy category so if we loiter here until it's off the page we could use it unless anyone else has anything?
no mothball jokes thank you.

Morning peeps - I've got a very lonely answer about the boat race in Sports (why is it only me - or should that be I? - who - or should that be whom? - has unpopular q's) but for once I would like not to be question author!

Aaaahhhhhh! phew that's better, what is the penalty for daughtercide? She is driving me mad - said through gritted teeth - I am getting more and more like my mother every day, now I understand why she used to wallop me!!

Robi what is your normal BP? I can't even be bothered to check mine. It's bound to be sky high!
shuttup whinging neti you know you've enjoyed being the Closet Kween....& don't ask I about grammar - never was my strong point but, despite that, I did always get top marks for composition...sommat to do with being observant & descriptive. (you have mail btw neti)
