Going by my experiences, get it ready to go on the market for early march, not many people want to move just before Christmas,but start thinking of it in the new year.

I think the springtime is the best. Everything looks nice then and people are not thinking about holidays or Christmas.

Its supposed to be Spring time with Easter weekend historically being the most popular for people viewing houses
