Has anyone had this laid? What does it look like, does it look like ceramic tiles?

Also how did you finish the edges? With normal wood effect laminate you would use beading, what do you with tile effect laminate?

Thanks.

I think what you are reffering to is made by Karndean. Go to their website www.karndean.co.uk and you will see the effects that can be created.
I suspect the beading would still have to be strips of wood. some manufactureres will provide you with beading of the appropriate colour to match the laminate
we've got the Tile Loc slate blue stuff from B & Q in our kitchen. It does look like tiles, but is warm underfoot. They sell beading that 'matches' the flooring and we have used that. It is also very easy to lay. Check out www.diy.com to find it. We also have the sandstone colour in our porch. Our Ikea plank type laminate in our lounge hasn't really been durable enough and is very scratched and has a few dents in where things like the remote controls have been dropped, however the tile stuff has had loads of things dropped on it, but is not dented or damaged in any way
I used the BandQ branded loc, its very good. Even though it says glueless I always use wood glue ...just in case os a spill.
