I have just bought my first house and so for the first time ever I actually have to buy my own domestic appliances! Can anyone tell me what the standard width of a fridge freezer is? I don't want to move in and discover the one I've bought is either too narrow or too wide. The current owners just have a standard width fridge freezer but the ones I've looked at are all different sizes - help!

Most standard-width appliances are 600mm wide.

Thank you!
Have a look on www.365electrical.com before you rush out to the shops. Their prices are amazing..got my washing machine, tumble drier and dishwasher from them.

If space is an issue you can get narrower widths. We just bought a 54cm wide Hoover fridge/freezer.
