Fatsia japonica

After seeing a particularly nice specimen in a neighbour's garden I recently bought a Fatsia japonica. However, mine is in a pot and has started looking rather poorly. What might be the problem?

Fatsia are generally pretty resilient, taking sun or shade, but as they have a potential height and spread of 10ft they do need their freedom. Try liberating it from the pot and planting it out. It should be a lot happier.
