central heating program timer problems

the program timer which you use to set times for central heating/heat water to start and stop has completly stopped working. it is a 'sun dial' like device and it has stopped moving round. any ideas?

The motor has failed. You maybe able to get the same model but why not update to a 24 hour electronic time switch?
