morning, Sunday already, a day of rest, so they say. I hope that you are all in good health and that your day is a pleasant one. Do you have any plans for today?

I am meeting a friend for coffee this morning, then possibly picking up my new reading glasses from Specsavers. Not sure if they are open today, will need to check.

Today's forecast for the capital is a lowly 14c with rain, which it's doing now.

as i am off fairly early i won't be hanging around too late today.
Looks like i will need the brolly as it's still raining and could be set in for the day.

A pleasant day down under, despite our fridge dying a sad death sometime yesterday.
Ordered a new one online and youngest offspring delivered and helped install today.
All good now.

My supper last night was a sachet of rice, a tin of mackerel fillets, and a jar of Rogan Josh sauce bought from Tesco.
Far too much sauce, I think, but tasty.

After all the kerfuffle today, it's going to be an easy one.
Pies chips veg and gravy.
Heat and eat.

I have a rolled pork loin that was going to be roasted, but that can wait for tomorrow.

sweet and sour chicken and egg fried rice, which is quite nice.

just had some bread and jam, won't eat now till lunch time if i can.

A cup of coffee, followed by a piece of fruit or two is my breakfast.
Usually my next meal is dinner.
Risking sounding like a grumpy old man "when I was young" my parents used to call me hoover, nothing on a plate would last long

i am not a big eater, but lunch time i like a sandwich or something easy to eat. dinner time is around 5 these days.
