morning, Thursday already and the week is flying by, i hope you are all in good health and that your day is a pleasant one. Do you have any plans for today? I have to wait in this morning for the pest control man from the local council to arrive as we have mice in the building again.
So it means a whole morning waiting but needs must.

todays forecast for the capital is a high of 28c with partly sunny skies, which is good, it's not before time. I hope it continues for a few days at least.

Morning, Emmie. The forecast of 28 sounds good so let's hope that the mouse-man comes early enough so that you can go out. It's supposed to be 28 here today with a thunderstorm in the afternoon. Maybe I'll sit out on the balcony and watch the activity.

that is if they show up at all, they have a habit of not doing so, but he has my phone number so should ring me with an update. The reason i have to be in is to let him into the bin area, which needs a fob key. Otherwise i would just go out.

I just decided to watch the LiveCam on Bourbon Street and saw a guy skate-boarding with a large snake wrapped around his shoulders, and the snake was waving its head around as if checking out the people wandering around!!

people do the strangest things don't they, i hate snakes, spiders, creepy crawlies and mice, not necessarily in that order.

yes they are, a real pain in the backside..

No real plans, I'll just take each minute as it comes around. I will water my tomato plants and go down to the lobby to check my mail-box to see if there's anything interesting in it besides junk-mail...A Government check (cheque to you I guess) would be a bonus.

According to the Feds I overpaid on my income tax for 2021, so I'm expecting a check from them for around $2,600.
