Can I cut leaves of crocuses right back after flowering

I wouldn't if I were you. The goodness in the leaves goes back into the bulbs to help them flower next year - or so I've always understood.
They use the leaves to produce food to store in the bulb for next year, so it's best to leave the leaves on but remove the flower heads.
I leave all my leaves crocus, snowdrop, daffodil and blue bell. Looks a bit unsightly for a while.
yes but they won't naturalise or flower next year and you will have to replace them every year.
