Happy Hogmanay to you - we've snow on the ground here to greet 2021. Haven't ventured out yet, but need to get some logs in from the porch soon, the wood-stove happily bubbling away.

Won't last long here either - currently -2°C and will come above freezing (just) after 10 am and it's due to be quite a nice day.

Just the opposite here - warm, overcast, around 30d and a lovely warm week ahead so I plan to enjoy it !!

I'm off to do some watering ....wish it would rain !!

ahh the dry season is coming in down under.....hopefully with a low risk of bush fires this year.

Happy New Year, wolfie xx Nearly missed you there. Don't know whether you saw it, but the Princess Royal expired (peacefully) early on Tuesday morning before Christmas.....a good age (probably nearer 21) and life....

going to do a late brunch and perhaps cheese and bics later on this evening.. the count down ro pink week is started..lol..

out to my sister's I believe for roast pork - my dry month begins very shortly, even tomorrow if I have finished the wine tonight.....this fallow period alone gets a good bit of weight off and helps the January bank account!
