I want to apply for a local job, which requires a CV, but I haven’t done one for years(I’ve worked for Mr Smows company for ages till now). What’s the best and easiest way of doing it? Surely I’m not expected to list every single job I’ve ever had since leaving school - I can’t remember half of them!! Help!

Employers want to see a complete carer history and may ask about any gaps. I guess you could say between x year and x year I worked for Y and Y employers, or Z an Z roles and describe what skills used in those posts are relevant.

Smowball , You posted in May you had just been made redundant by email as a manager in IT. Just use the template you used when you applied for that job.
I thought Smow was a proofreader. Didn’t you need a CV for that job?
...and swapping and changing between loads of jobs isn't what a prospective employer wants to hear!
