laminate flooring costs

How much would you expect to pay for laminate flooring in square meters. This should include the flooring (not the B&Q cheap stuff but decent quality from a carpet and flooring shop) and fitting. Is �60-70 per sq metre about right?

not sure, but remember to price in the edging, that can be very expensive in itself.

Don't know how much fitting costs but I recently put down solid elm wide boards that cost about that!


I'd have thought you'd be quite safe with that as an estimate

�60 per sq m. sounds excessive to me. I would suggest you find a reliable local craftsman, who should be able to do it for about �40 per sq.m. incl. materials, and by this I mean the real stuff, not B&Q plastic. Where are you, may be able to help with contacts?
