Hi,

Am selling a house that has lino in the 11ft 2 x 11ft 7 kitchen / diner, and carpet in the lounge, 13ft 10 x 11ft 7. Would anyone be able to give me rough idea how much it might be to replace the lino with laminate flooring, and how it would compare to having tiles fitted. Including labour. And would it be more "saleable" with laminate flooring in the lounge too, with costs. Overall, is it worth the expense ;)

Many thanks

Like the sound of that, murraymints. Presumably it's durable, how does it compare cost wise ?

Oops, didn't notice a 2nd page ... will look into that - thanks ! :)
I have laminate flooring in my lounge. It is the coldest room in the house.
Personally I hate laminate - it always looks dusty for a start. And how do you loll on the floor in front of the real log fire with laminate? Give me a cosy carpet any day.
