Oooooh we love a good vacuum thread on here

We have a dyson V somethingorother. It’s purple.
We have the same as Zacs, it’s a V something but not sure of the colour. It’s great and I’d highly recommend it, I’d never spend my money on any other make.
Vax usually have good sales from their website. Not sure how they stack up performance-wise against other brands. But they are significantly cheaper.
Some as Zacs - Dyson V10 Animal - brilliant - añd it's purple as well!
Just looked. Ours is grey and silver with a purple filter knob on top. But it’s not an animal ;)
I've got a Dyson as well - it's grey. I woudn't be without it.
dyson. cost a bit but well worth it

How much we looking at
Depends on the model. A good place to look is in Amazon deals, items are listed under “used” in the individual item listing. They are mostly open box or damaged packaging but the machines come with full dyson warranty and amazon free return.
I swore I would never buy another Dyson. But three months ago I bought a cordless Dyson and am so impressed with it I bought one for my mother in law a month later
I have a corded Shark. But I've heard that their cordless models are also excellent.
Yes, Dyson here too....the best performing cordless vacuums there are (according to Which?). You can buy a lot cheaper, but performance is sadly lacking in cheapos.
Just a thought....you could get the best performance at the lowest price by buying a refurbished Dyson direct from Dyson.....for example

A friend recommended a Gtech AirRam mult-system last year so I got one and it comes with a small hand-held. Bit pricey but it was on special offer at the time. It's great :o)

My friend has suggested a Vax cordless stick one.

Thank you all. I just switched on a shopping channel and saw a Beldray cordless 2 in 1 stick. It's does everything I want it to. At a great price. I only have a flat.
Anyway - I bought a Beldray Airgility too!

My old Dyson is heavy & messy to empty so I splashed out for a new cordless. It seems to work well & as it only takes a few minutes to vac my flat, run time isn't an issue. AND - I can take it outside & do the car.

At £70 (off ebay) including delivery it was about £30 cheaper than similar models being pushed on the shopping channels.
i have a dyson, its expensive and a bit awkward, like opening the bin to empty it, but it certainly does the job. I paid about 250 for it.
Dyson V8 i think

Hi Dave yes I saw afterwards I could have got it cheaper. TBH I don't really mind as I will get something back on the spare parts off the old one. I'm loving the beldray.
