Surely our cute little bundles of fur wouldn't do this ...

Oh, they are so funny! They can look so intimidating sometimes..and soo tormentful!.. ha ha..
But we love them...
Everyday he tries to make me fall down the stairs.
Mine was lying on bottom step this morning. He would not move! I even pretended to step on him. Nothing....

My 'flat' is on two floors with a narrow and steep stairway going up to the second floor of the house. I hate stairs, I'm fat so going up them is hard work but going downstairs terrifies me.

When we are going down the stairs Frankie waits at the top stair or on the landing and refuses to budge until I actually start going downwards, given that he is where my food wants to be this is a pain.

If I am slow at going down the stairs he races past me, going through my legs if it will get him to the food bowl faster. One day I am going to fall and land on him ... and, as I said, I am fat. Flattened cat!

:-))
Oh...from the title I thought you had tasted my mums cooking .... !
Sorry, Wolf, but I do not like videos where any animals are being manipulated to do unlikely things. I can see why cat lovers would like this though.
I am not a cat lover but you might know that already.

Tilly - I love dogs and cats, but they are both so different. Cat's fascinate me because they are very complex animals.

I read a story in the Metro earlier about a man punching his Staffie as she cowered on an armchair. I don't think that it was a one-off attack.
that all looked pretty unstaged to me, Tilly, except they're not usually so careful about what piano keys they hit.
It was the piano bit that stopped me watching, Jno, although I do understand that cats would enjoy walking across a piano keyboard.

I am not going to look at tha man punching the staffie. Pig!
In answer to the OP - nah! But it has worked the other way. Accidents of course, but unavoidable. Hey Ho.

10C - when I saw your answer come up in latest posts I wasn't sure what to expect from you. Is this you confessing to killing your gran's budgie?

How is the little white fluffy thing doing? Has it won over your heart?
I love animals... I don't have any pets of my own but when house sitting my one of my Bro's cats just goes to sleep in the most unusual places (Tiger is a tabby ginger elderly tom) he'll just wander about like Garfield, and flop down for a snooze wherever.

Some of his other five cats are more like this:

Four cats - My life is in danger :-(
I wasn't terribly bothered by the piano segment. Who amongst us hasn't allowed our cat(s) keyboard time on a lappy or pc when they are warming our laps? Is that manipulation? Noooo!
Caspar is only plotting to drive me mad with his never ending shouting...:(
I'd swear he asks for food more than 15 times a day...
the piano bit was only a few seconds, and he gave the cat a cuddle after it.

Of course, rehearsals may have been going on for weeks.
I'm sorry to diss the video. I know you all love your cats to bits.

It was a momentary lapse into spitefulness and I apologise.
Tilly, you’re fine. I love my cat, but I found the piano piece a bit off, too.
The man punching the Staffie: he should be banned for life from owning a pet, not five years.
Thank you, Clover. That's made me feel a bit better. :-)
