Thursday. No frost again this morning. 4°C Not bad. Yesterday I didn't need a coat it was so warm. It would be nice it's the same today.

The delights of scaling mount ironing today. Running out of clothes. Such fun I have. :o}

Tiggy still asleep after his midwinter feed the other day. I'm checking him daily while it's this warm.

Princess Merlin woke me at three for breakfast. This is the first time that she has done this. Her brother, Frankie, is my usual alarm clock.

Been rather pleasant here today, didn't get above 38c.
Weatherman reckons 45c plus for the weekend.

Doesn't sound good, hope he is wrong.

A rather long hot summer this year, climate change?

Time will tell oz. Yur wee man on the idiot box is telling us winter is about to begin. But we've heard that before.

Shouldn't winter have started some time ago up there?

It should have, but all we've had is a few days with a bit of frost in the morning. I've needed gloves on only about half a dozen days. It's the first time Tiggy has woken up before about April.

WBM, you should my see washing basket, even two of my socks are gasping for air, I have no idea where they think they're going....

I put my dirty socks in a net bag, they complain, but it stops them wandering around and getting lost in the washing machine.
