Wednesday. It's piddling moggies and mutts, but there is no air movement.

Hopefully today is the last day of the kitchen renovation. Just the floor to do. I don't know how long it will take as they are laying tiles.

I must say though, that I have the highest praise for the standard of workmanship and the cleanliness when each team has finished. I will be emailing their boss to say so too.

Then I can get back to whatever passes for normal. I'm going stir crazy having to be in all day.

Have a happy day everyone.

We're going up to Northumberland for a long weekend to visit Bamburgh Castle, Lindisfarne and the like and basically just chill out - we've both been working very long hours recently and need a few days R&R. That and the fact it's my 60th on Sunday week
Not to bad thanks - where about you based?
