There seems to be a lot more dying off this year than usual.
The article about Paul Daniels going home to die made me think about it.
Has anyone heard how Bruce Forsyth is at the present time?

Some just keep going on. Vera Lynn is 99 this month.
Bill Wyman has prostate cancer, too.
No Caran but I was thinking exactly the same thing this morning we must must be getting old in our age
Given that every other person is supposed to be a celeb these days, there must be many going every day.

My mum is 97
It's a case of Tempus Fugit. The next decade or so will see a spate of royal funerals.
As we grow older then so do those we have grown up with , celebrities included.

I certainly think Paul Daniels has made the right move, Brain Cancer killed my husband and he took a nurses word that late stage radiotherapy would buy him some time, it didn't but meant two weeks of very difficult journeys for treatment. Thankfully he did get his wish to die at home though.

I wish Paul a peaceful passing.
I'm still here.
We're glad of that Stuey x
Bruce's wig is still going strong.

My late husband had a brain tumour, during the operation to remove it he had a stroke. It left him unable to decide on anything. He was virtually like a baby.
Luckily, and I mean this for his sake he died about six month later. It was a relief for him.
Still breathing unfortunately. can't stand him. His ego is bigger than he is.
Heavens WBM, did he shoot your puppy or something?
I remember Bruce compare "beat the clock" with assistant, the gorgeous Angela. In Sunday night at the London Palladium. Fond memories.
No JNO, but he always has to be centre stage. We stopped watching Strictly come dancing because whenever some one started to say something, even the judges, he has to but in.

On Sunday Night at the London Palladium he was good...until one of the contestants cracked a joke, he got quite huffy and said 'I'll do the jokes if you don't mind!' He was quite snotty about it. Even the audience picked up on it.
Yes David, Angela was gorgeous indeed.

The Tiller Girls were excellent too. :o}
Did you know she married Stubby Kaye?
Nope. I didn't know that. But then I spent a lot of time abroad in army days in the 60's and lost track of such things.
We play many roles in this life....
