What are you plans for New Year's eve?

I'm heading to the coast for a "quiet" drink a traditional new year's swim the following day.

Well, it could be interesting. My daughter wants to have about a dozen of her friends over for PS3 gaming and maybe a bit of music (we have an assortment of guitars and basses) – they’re all 15/16 years old. Unfortunately she’s just been in hospital with a severe asthma attack so it’s up in the air.

Put me north of the Wall, maybe, though I tend to follow minty and other's logic - overpriced food and drink. lousy quality and interminable waits for what, a few seconds. Nope, good wine, nipples and bed when I am ready....
