i have just bought my third new hoover in less than 3 years..i do have a hairy dog and do have to hoover daily..its not worth taking out extra insurance on them as you can get a new one for less..i used to buy expensive ones and my last hairy dog wore the engine of a kirby out in 30 months and they cost 1000..i had to sell it for spares..i have owned several vax and other multi use hoovers..and have just bought another vax..as it seems to be the best..and on top of this 3 new washing machines have been in this house this year and tommorow a head will roll where i got it from as another one has flooded the kitchen and its 6 weeks old..i must be perishing jinxed..and i know its a throw away society but this is past a joke..does anyone else have these problems??

You're jinxed and in the wrong category mullein!!

Oh dear life's a so-and-so sometimes.  Maybe you're sending out bad vibes 'cos you don't like living there & you're just working towards the day that you leave, so all of your electrical appliances are going haywire.  Well that's my theory!

I just daren't comment on any of my electricals in case I tempt fate, although I did have to have the tv repaired two weeks ago.

Hope you've been enjoying the lovely weather we had last week - didn't get on here so much as I was in the garden everyday.

Take it easy on the sales assistants tomorrow - don't want to see you on the news!

well obviously mullein's suggestion is a new Hoover for all AB users. You haven't been hoovering up small children or surplus sofas or anything?

robina...i thought it was a chatter question??  obviously it wasnt silly enough!!..its the dog hair its a big house and he goes everywhere every day so the whole house needs hoovering..they start to run slow and dont pick up to well then the motor just goes...as for the washing machine well i give up!!..robina ..no i didnt do much in the garden last week i wasnt very well my b12 injection is due in 6 days time and i am really tired..mr m helped me do the housework this morning before he went to work..as my injection approaches my back and foot hurt again..when i get the injection i zip around like i am on drugs..hyper full of energy then after 10 weeks i just slow downzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

mullein you are tired aren't you?  You'd actually posted in Suggestions - I guessed you meant to be in Chatter so why you've ended up in H&G I don't know!!

Sorry you're not feeling so well but hopefully you'll be up & running in time to pack everything away for winter.  Let's hope it's not too harsh & that spring soon comes back again.

Look after yourself - bet this gets moved again now to chat!
