No I haven't seen any ladybirds either.?
I've seen one wasp and one ladybird:-(

I'm pleased to report our garden is FULL of bees:-)
Just the good old bumble bees doing their job.
The odd wasp, no ladybirds, no honey bees but lots of bumble bees.
Aren't they lovely seadog!
Wasps are busy eating my garden furniture and fence as usual. If you listen carefully you can actually hear them chewing!
Very few wasps, a nest I saw in a hole in the ground in some long grass, now seems to have been flooded out in heavy rain down pours.
Seen a few wasps in Surrey, no ladybirds, not many bees either. Plenty of flies though ...
No wasps, had the council out on Tuesday.
South Hants - plenty of ladybirds, loads and loads of bees - bumble and honey - but thankfully NO wasps!!
Essex area - I have seen one so far
No midges and about one butterfly a day
Hardly any bees and no ladybirds

It's a bit odd
They'll be back
A couple of wasps, quite a few bees. Three different species of butterfly and a lone ladybird which landed on my book in the garden yesterday.
I live in a Fen village. Up till yesterday no wasps then I had at least a dozen on my bonnet this morning. I park my car under some trees, so they must feed on the sticky stuff. Still no ladybirds though but loads of bees and butterflies on my lavender and buddleia( probably mis-spelt) .
About a third ( at a rough guess) of normal around rural Yorkshire. I was in the dales yesterday and it was really nice to eat lunch outside without the blighters, but I do wonder what effect this is having on the species which use them as food. If there are any.
Hiya Lilacben... I'm in somerset too.... we've had loads at work... there must be a nest near us somewhere...quite hilarious watching my workmates jumping around... 'cos they don't like them I try to catch them and let them out!! Mrs C x
I had a wasp land on my steering wheel the other day, whilst I was driving.
lots of butterflies
Can't even remember when I last saw one here in North Herts. Have not seen even one this year so far.
