I have only ever known TV with a SKY box ...Well since 1993.

We are leaving the UK very soon and if we cancel the SKY HD Plus subscription ....Will we still be able to get the basic channels via the SKY HD Plus box ?
or does it simply just stop working full stop ?

We have Freeview built into the TV , but the TV Ariel isn't that good and we get lots of broken reception.

Yes, we get our channels through the box even though we don't subscribe anymore.

Freeview tv needs a good aerial from what I understand.
Might not be worth investing if you're leaving the Uk though.
