i live in a house with no drive so have to park on the street each night when i get home from work, but my neighbour that has got 2 cars and a drive that would fit 3 cars feels the need to never use his drive instead parks both his cars outside my house each and every night ... that leaves me having to park at the bottom of a very long street and then walk up to my house.is there something i can do about this or do i have to grin and bare it as its really getting to me now
Legally there is not a lot you can do. I used to have the same situation when I finished late shifts and most times I had to park in the next road. Fortunately I did have room for a drive and had to stump the cash to do it and get the kerb dropped.
My sympathy to you. Why not have a friendly chat to the neighbour, often works.
Actually it is illegal to park across a dropped kerb - but the fact your dropped kerb doesn't lead to a driveway is a conundrum.
As soon as you have a drive in place, he won't be able to park there.
