I have bought some early and second early potatoes which I will plant in pots. I know that they should be started by chitting but each individual potato already has just one sprout about four plus inches long. Should I rub them off, and wait for others to start sprouting or plant them as they are? (They came in plastic packets from one of the cheap shops)
